PostAuthor: SpecVman » Tue Mar 15, 2011 3:30 pm

When ever Im backing out of the driveway and moving the steering wheel back and forth , I hear a thumping sound from the front end ?
Does any one else experience this ? Is this normal ? :?

could be just the pads/calipers sticking when slightly cold. does it normally happen first thing in the morning after the car has been sitting overnight? Try reversing and turning the wheel right after the car has been driven a while and see if it does it.

Lift the front of your car and see if it's the ball joints.
